EMBROIDERY: Mrs. Claus Appliance Handle Cover

Merry Christmas! Join Pam as we make this cute little refrigerator door handle cover! It is made entirely in the hoop and is “stabilized” using a foam backing and tear-away stabilizer.

Hoop size 8”x12” or larger

 SUPPLIES:

1/4  yard of Red decorative fabric.  This will be cut into 2 pieces, 6”x9” and 2”x3”.

A scrap of White fabric 3”x 4”

A scrap of Brown fabric 3”x 3”

7 ¾” Velcro to match the main fabric.  (any color would do as it won’t be seen).

Double-sided sticky tape - I used RK Stitch Perfection tape (used to hold the Velcro in place)

Tape to hold fabric down and in place.

RK Sew-Fab-Foam Fusible.  This gives the design stability.

Interfacing

Heavy Starch or Teriel Magic

THREADS:  (I recommend using the following colors)
