EMBROIDERY: Fun Projects with Pam TOILET PAPER COVER FALL



This is a super easy project and requires a little machine sewing after the embroidery process.  The rest is all embroidery.

 

The project is small and needs a 4” or larger hoop.

 

Supplies:

A piece of felt or fleece, 6” X 20”(to be cut to 4 ½” X 17 ½”)– A fall color is preferable

4 ½ piece of Velcro, preferably to match your felt, but not necessary

Cutaway stabilizer (or Sticky Cutaway Stabilizer)

Small pieces of white plastic, such as a tablecloth from Dollar Tree. 

Fusible interfacing, the same size as the felt or fleece.


General sewing supplies:
Rotary cutter
Sewing Scissors
Double curved embroidery scissors
Tweezers
Fabric spray adhesive  (or use Sticky Cutaway Stabilizer)
Small Iron
Frixion Pen (use a color that will show up on your piece of felt/fleece)

A roll of toilet paper

Threads:

The first thread color is the color of your fabric (felt or fleece)

White – for doggy body

Black – for details such as ears, eyes, nose, spots and outline and detail of leaves

Orange – Pumpkin

Green – Pumpkin stem and leaves

Medium brown – leaves

Dark Brown – detail around leaves

Red-Brown – Leaves and lines in the pumpkin

Light orange – highlights in pumpkin

Medium to light gray for highlighting Doggie legs

Red – Words and doggy Collar
