SERGER: Gather Together Apron (Serger Club)

This is a cute and stylish apron inspired by a project created by Pat Bravo for Art Gallery Fabrics. This apron has the basic style from the original one but the construction was changed to use various stitches, feet, and attachments on any 8 - thread serger.


-  Wave Stitch
-  Rolled Edge
-  Gathering with the Serger
-  Gathering with the Cover Stitch
-  Bias Binding
-  Narrow Hemming with the Plain Hemmer Foot


- Fabric A: 2/3 Yard
      - Bodice and lower ruffle
- Fabric B 1/2 Yard
      - Skirt
- Fabric C: 1/8 Yard
      - Narrow Ruffle
-Fabric D: 1 Yard
      - Neck Band
      - Flower
      - Waistband Ties

NOTE: If you are wanting to make the small apron all pieces are 1/2 the size with the exception of the necktie, waistband, and flower.


- Serger (8-thread)
- Serger (4-thread) with WAVE stitch AND  separate coverstitch machine. Be sure to bring all your accessories, including a power cord and foot pedal!


- Standard Foot
- Chain and Cover Stitch Foot
- Plain Hemmer Foot: 1/4 or 1/2
- 36 mm Double Fold Bias Binder


- 4 Cones Overlock Thread
- 12 wt. Decorative Thread, 2 Spools
- 1 Spool of Texturized Nylon/Poly thread for rolled edge
- Iron (we provide it)
- Pins or Binder Clips
- Rotary Cutter
- Mat
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Fabric Starch
