201 Sewing Series

A three-day course designed to use the basics of sewing and focus on garment construction.  Each session will be 2.5 hours.  There are three (3) patterns to choose from (included).  You will learn how to read a pattern, lay out fabric, cut and transfer markings to fabric, and assemble.  If the student picks their own pattern it MUST be a basic level pattern which has to be approved for this class by the teacher (and student will purchase pattern separately). 

All fabrics and notions (as noted on the pattern envelope) will need to be purchased separately (most available at The Sewing Center of Wesley Chapel) and brought to class. 

Skill Level: intermediate
Skill Details: Student must understand the basics of sewing.
Materials Included: 3 patterns, your choice
Requirements: Bring your sewing machine, Basic Sewing kit, Fabric and notions as noted on pattern envelope
