Girl Scouts Sewing Classes

These classes will teach fun sewing basics to help Scouts earn their sewing badges- including how to stitch that badge!

Learn to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine and select basic stitches.
Hand sew a sock donut pin cushion.
Learn about fabric types and the right stitches to use.
Learn how to measure for pattern sewing.
Learn to machine stitch merit badges.

Materials and machines will be provided.  

This is a 2 part class- scouts will need to attend both sessions for merit badge consideration.

Seats must be reserved in advance and are first come first served.
Troop leaders contact Meeghan at the Sewing Center to reserve a full troop.
