Intro to Embroidery

New embroidery machine???  Where do you start?? Our Intro to Embroidery classes will teach you all of the basics of setting up and stitching out beautiful machine embroideries.

This 4 part series will focus on what products to use with your embroidery projects, how to hoop your fabrics, how to position your design perfectly, how to stitch in the hoop projects and much more.  

These classes are recommended for new embroidery machine owners or for anyone who needs help getting started with the fun world of machine embroidery!

Week 1- Stabilizers
Week 2- Hooping
Week 3- Design Posistioning
Week 4- Open session- bring a project to stitch out!


Embroidery Machine (Husqvarna Viking or Baby Lock)
Embroidery Arm
Embroidery Foot
Post It Flags

Stabilizers, Threads and related products will be discussed in class.

Skill Level: beginner
Skill Details: Beginner Embroidery
Materials Included: Textbook, fabric and stabilizer samples, stabilizer guides, threads for use in class.
Requirements: Embroidery machine, arm, hoops, bobbins and embroidery foot.
